Easy comparison of all the best cable TV plans
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009Yes, I think I have it all figured out! Terrestrial TV is over, and now we have Freeview. But in order to watch Freeview I need a set top box. And that hooks to a scart connection or an rtf impedance connector if my set is really old. But if I want to watch Premier League matches, I will need to pay for Setana, but that will not give me many channels.
If I want Freeview with extra channels, I need Topup TV, but that won’t get me all the channels or movies. And if I want Broadband bundled with my TV, I will need a package from Sir Richard and Virgin TV… unless Tiscali serves my area and I want to include their home telephone service. Simple, eh? Ha, not at all. It is an incredible mess, compounded by the fact that all of the services and prices vary, dependent on where in the UK you live.
